WA 1984 Z31 200ZG project

Up for grabs is a Japanese import 1984 Nissan 200ZG. This is not the 200ZR with the RB motor, its a 300zx with a 2L, Single turbo SOHC VG20ET. The engine apparently makes the same power and torque as the N/A 300zx motor, but with the added benefit of making sweet-as turbo noises, and you can slap a boost controller and intercooler on it for more power.
Its a 2+2, with targa tops and an automatic transmission.

I bought this car with a snapped timing belt and a partially disassembled engine. I then bought a genuine Nissan full gasket and seal kit, new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, before finding a complete VG20ET motor and buying that, which will all be included with sale.

The vehicle is unlicensed, the body and interior are in very good condition age considered. It has been parked in the shade the entire time I have owned it. There is a small spot of rust inside the rear hatch, other than that I have not found any other rust.

Selling due to don't have the time to fix it, need to free up the space it takes up, and have too many other projects, automotive and not.

This is a steal...looks in extremely good condition considering many of the Z31s out there, it's a very rare spec too. And those things look best in the silver-black two-tone (just like mine ).

Unfortunately for anyone interested I've just sold it.

As for the spare engine, I have no idea, it had a mechanical distributor on it when I bought it (the kind that will work with no ECU) and was running some kind of computer for fuelling. It was removed because whatever it was in was upgraded to a VQ35DE. The inlet manifold had all emissions/idle controls welded up and another size throttle body flange welded onto it, and the manifold was on backwards, so its history is questionable.
