Minimum $150 if you find a bargain, $200-$300 will get you something nice.

Does your Z32 have an Airbag Steering Wheel, at the moment(what year model Z32 do you have)?

It is not advisable to retro-fit an Airbag Wheel to a non-Airbag equipped car.

Airbag itself can be removed by taking out a few screws.

My car is a 93 model and wikipedia says they were made standard in 92, i suspect there shouldnt be any problems.

Dont believe everything you read on Wiki.
Mine is a '93 J-spec. No air bag, wheel has not been changed out.

Wikipedia is for the us market. Airbags weren't introduced for our cars until late 93/94

Nothing wrong with fitting one provided you remove the airbag.

It may be a moot point, but why would anyone want to spend money buying an Airbag Steering Wheel(only to have to remove the Air Bag before using it)?:eek::br:

Because they are a lot less ugly. Same reason I have a S15 airbag wheel in my zed.

I was spared that problem. Mine came fitted with a Nardi wheel.:):br:

With the quite rare padding section over the metal spokes IIRC ;)

I disagree. I loved my old slim '90 spec wheel. The fat stupid airbag one reminds me of my mother's VN Commodore.
And also, the cruise control controls are taken off the wheel, moved to a stalk on the left side of the wheel, but my left hand spends all its life on the gear knob! The original wheel had inset controls for your right hand, the way it was obviously designed before the airbag inclusion through a spanner in the works.

Your memory serves you well Chris(clip-on padded centre w/Nardi badge).:p:zlove::br:

Well, maybe if your hands were on the wheel, where the law says they should be, you'd find the stalk more accessible :p

Do agree tho, much prefer the Series 1 wheel over the airbag. Cruise control converted to stalk looks better though.

Maybe I don't want to cruise around in 1st everywhere I go! ;)

maybe you should learn to change gears properly then. If you're shifting gear that often that your hand lives on the gear knob, its no wonder your throw out bearing if f#$%ed
