V8 swap

    I think buying a donor car would be the ticket! Maybe at an auction or such?

    stick 5-7k into a vg and you will be way ahead.. no engineering needed no mod plate just thrash it...

    Can buy a running repairable write off 5.7 6speed commy at pickles auctions just about every other wed for between $3000 & $4000.

    there you have 90% of your conversion there, wreck the rest of the car and recoup some coin that you can use to buy the rest of the stuff you need.

    should be able to come out of the complete deal with change left in your pocket from 10K.

    Would the VK56DE be a more worthwhile choice? Has anyone looked into it properly?

    Im confused as to whether the VK and VH share the same block/mount points? Apologies if the info is in the link I just posted I can't get it to display properly, flash and shockwave players keep crashing.

    Would a VK with a stroker kit be a pretty ultimate NA setup, albeit at a hefty cost? Big power with lots of torque especially more noticeable down low compared to a VG:br:
