stick 5-7k into a vg and you will be way ahead.. no engineering needed no mod plate just thrash it...
Can buy a running repairable write off 5.7 6speed commy at pickles auctions just about every other wed for between $3000 & $4000. there you have 90% of your conversion there, wreck the rest of the car and recoup some coin that you can use to buy the rest of the stuff you need. should be able to come out of the complete deal with change left in your pocket from 10K.

Would the VK56DE be a more worthwhile choice? Has anyone looked into it properly?
