A quick measurement from a helpful forum member here would be greatly appreciated to cut a long story short, the motor is Frankenstein spec, as i add one part, i modify all the lesser items around it to suit. i now have a balancer which i had custom made to suit my needs for a single belt and crank trigger wheel with damper on the front, and i would not modifiy the timing cover, so the rear belt pack had to be moved forwards to allow for the trigger wheel to fit behind it and i didnt want a trigger disc hanging off the front because it looks stupid. SO, now i have a minor alignment issue that i need to rectify i believe the Z32 pump is shorter than the nissan cima vg30 version. could someone please measure the overall length of the water pump, the distance from the front of the block to the mounting surface for the water pump pulley. the cima item is 106mm overall length i need to lose 10mm from the overall length at a minimum, even if the pump is 20mm shorter, just as long as its shorter. i can machine a spacer to my required thickness to push the pulley forwards to achieve the correct alignment. just trying to suss it out before i order a pump and realise i have wasted my money on another pump that wont suit thanks in advance -dim a picture to illustrate the problem
