Hi guys prolly a silly question here, but i am changing my boot gas struts and have managed to take one off for the time being, but the thing that i am trying to figure out is how to i remove the actual bolt from the strut without damaging it to place on my new one? thanks in advanced
Most boot struts just have a sleeve holding the pivot ball on the end of the ball to the strut. So get a small screwdriver and slide the sleeve up off the ball. Just remember the hatch is going to want to drop on your head.
