external gate turbo kit

So I'm in the market for new turbos and want 2 get some external gates but I have looked every where for a kit that will go on to the vg30dett I have been told that greddy go a kit but after weeks of searching I still can't find it so just wanting 2 no if any one can help me out in finding a kit or know of any other kits around ???

 

why do you want external waste gates ?

 

as i like 2 be seen and the power from it aswell as i want 2 be running twin screamers off them

And exteral waste gates will not add any power.
And screamers ?
is this a track or a street car, with the crack down on modified cars i will expect to see a "help my car got defected" post shortly.


Its your car, follow which avenue you please but you will hit a few blocks by doing so.

screamers are going to be the least of his problems he has a cage and a gutted 2+2

hahaha thanks but as like the above post says the car is gulled with a full cage so screamers will just give me somthing els 2 add 2 the list and yer the car is a drift car so if i get defected then it gets defected .... and from what i have been told about and expereance with e/gates is it dose give you a power gain over over split down pipes did some back 2 back testing on a friends r32 skyline

 

I have a twin turbo kit with twin screamers by blitz.

Try looking for a second hand greddy kit. They pop up on eBay a fair bit. They will all be old school tech but make the numbers. It will just be a waiting game I think.

 

^^ I didn't know there were any off the shelf screamer pipe exhausts?

there's a listing on Yahoo! Japan right now, GReddy TD05 kit with manifolds, external gates, gaskets, etc. Everything but the turbos. Pretty cheap IIRC.

they are actually the same as the ones i'm fitting to my street car and i'm looking atways to plumb the screamer pipe back into the exhuast.

Chris i could be could be calling on ur help on this one too if i fallshort on ideas.

 

Screamer pipes believe it or not can give you an increase in power. Its mainly when your exhaust is too small for the power output and the screamer pipes venting exhaust gasses to the atmosphere instead of going back into the exhaust creating more backpressure.

 

i run twin screamers, just split dumps that are cut, and extended.
power gains? none.

sound gains? nothing better than getting the zed into boost around 4k and gating pedestrians lol.
