lol Have to get an aftermarket ecu or tune your current one with something like or similar to Nistune will do it Only reason people normally get that done is to support their new mods hence my original statement , but you could get it done just to remove the speed limiter if you really wanted to
Someone I know (whose name we wont mention even though it is the same as mine) did hit the rev limiter in 5th and said the speedo read around 300kmph. I think he had 18"s and the rev limit set at 7500 or 7800. Carl the 328 limit is not achievable with standard TT gearing unless you are going to 8000+ rpm. (I think we worked out you need 8500rpm to do it with 3.69 gears) With leader gears (NA gearing) I am hitting around 240-250 on the track, I think it won't do much over 260 (running 17's with 7300 hard rev limit 7000 soft shift limit and 6800 shift lite.
There is a possibility that hottitszx is a dude ... you might want to rethink your last statement
I'm so glad I'm in NZ today - thankfully I don't need to fix my Sydney office, so I'm safe for a while
Top speeds 40km in a Roadworks 40km zone. (Still got a caution for looking fast) I tend to travel much slower than the speed limits.
LOL I guess I have two answers to the original question. 1. The 180km/h speedo is just fine. It is easy to read at a glance and the truth is that once ya run out of numbers on that dial you need to be watching where you are going and be focussed on the task at hand, no bothering about where the needle is pointed. 2. I have no idea on what speed it equates to but as a rough guide it was sitting on the rev limiter in 5th (TT). I figure anything still hangin on up there deserves a little respect.
