this has been looked at I believe some Z's have been found to have anchor points for baby seats. Mine does not but I expect they can be put in and engineered if this is the case. I am fortunate my youngest has just turned of age that he no longer formally needs a booster seat.

yes, as part of compliance the anchor points should have been fitted

    Yes they can.

I have a baby seat in the rear of my 2+2, as do some other members. By law, all Aus-Spec NA 2+2 zeds have the mounting bracket behind the rear seat, underneath the boot carpet, on both left and right side. As for the J-Spec 2+2, if complianced properly, they should also have the mounting brackets fitted in the same location. If they are not there, you will have to get someone to install them.

With the baby seat in the rear facing position, it is a very tight squeeze, and the front passenger seat (if the baby seat goes on the passenger side) will have to be pushed all the way forward for it to fit. This can be a problem if you have a tall wife :). Thankfully mine is not a giant, and was still able to fit semi comfortably. Once the baby is older, and the seat is forward facing, its much easier to get baby in and out, and there will also be plenty of room for babies legs.

As a reference, I have the Safe n Sound Compaq Deluxe seat. I think its still the smallest baby seat you can find, that is designed to fit in sports cars with limited room.
