Some weird stuff is going on with my car. After i turn off my car from a decent drive my car makes a loud, high pitched squeak. It happens for bout 5 or so times and they happen at bout 1 minute intervals of eachother and then it stops.
Now today i heard it while driving wen i clutch in to change from 1-2.

Has this been happening to anyone else? Does anyone have an explanation coz im puzzled :/

    thanks

Where is the squealing coming from? Could be the brakes or rotors or even one of the drive belts...need more information :)

I'm curious how brakes or drive belts squeak when the car is off?

Could the "squeak" be also described as a whistle?

I think realistically, it's going to be heat-soak related, so my guess will be water/steam being passed through to the overflow bottle.

I've had a 'buzz' go off when I switched off the car and it was the ECU that had basically had it.

what about a turbo bearing on the way out, giving intermitent squeaks. or could be the sound of pressure escaping from the rad cap

well i think its coming from the front but i honestly dnt know. Pressure escaping from radiator etc im not sure because its not a continuous squeak as a release of pressure as such. Its a very short abrupt and loud squek. Could it be alarm related or ecu
