Well, after worrying about the weather spoiling our cruise, it ended up being perfect - cool and overcast, but thankfully no rain. Great to have another cruise with my brother-in-law Jordan (JBZ), catch up again with Mark (reyoh) and meet Jason (nva218) for the first time. Mark and Jason also had passengers who enjoyed the ride! Here's some pics: Start point - Jindalee DFO Quick stop at Nando's Kenmore - anyone else coming? Nope! Cars left to right: Mr G, JBZ, nva218, reyoh Out to Upper Brookfield. Went to end of Gold Creek Road, then up the top of Hillbrook Road. Then, off along Upper Brookfield Road with JBZ leading the way. On the way back, turned onto Haven Road. Top of the mountain! Cut back along Rafting Ground Road before switching to Pullenvale Road, then all the way to the end of Grandview Road. THAT'S DISGUSTING!!! Shake it out... Stop at Moggill shops (opposite Moggill SS) for lunch. Different colours depending on lighting (well, I find it interesting...) Sun Shade And then we headed to the end of Moggill Road, turned around and tackled Haven Road again, just because it's awesome. Thanks to JBZ, reyoh and nva218 for joining me on this great cruise - hope you enjoyed it and I plan to do it again sometime! :zlove: Video will be uploaded soon, will find cable tomorrow.
Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark.... so cut i had to work today hopefully in the near future we can do something similar :zlove:
I was would of come, but I still have a few little jobs that I really need to do before straying too far from home. My cats are f@$%ed i suspect my S2 PTU needs the wiring redone and I was booked in on saturday for for a head unit swap. A job that should of taken 15 minutes took 3 hours! Then they tried to charge me for it
It was a good run yesterday. I'm glad we didn't leave it until today day, some of those hills would have been deadly! I took a few photos from my phone but these couple were probably the only ones worth showing. First and only hicup of the day. Loose coilpack connection, promptly fixed in between a set of lights. We more or less had the roads to ourselves. Bit of a tight squeeze in some places Only one complaint all cruise . A local who swore blind we were doing more than 60 when the roads really couldn't handle more than that unless you had a death wish. All in all it was a great day and would definitely recommend doing it again. It was nice to finally have my car running and get out to a cruise to put name to face.
was a good day. i had fun apart from my car was dropping a cylinder whenever it wanted all day due to a lose connection and i didnt really like the rough roads but still had fun it was good. thanks to all
More pics required please! That guage pod looks like one of the better ones I have seen - do you have any guff on it?
I did a write up on it a little while ago, here is the thread . http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=308266
Was like this most of the way, which was great! On the back roads, only passed a few cars, and on some runs none at all! Glad you enjoyed the roads (yes, some were a bit bumpy!) - I'll lead one again, probably later this year so some of those who missed out can join us.
I don't think it was me. I was on my way to work at Springfield at that time. I hope it wasn't my car tho lol, I wasn't driving it then
