Been posted a few times before, don't mind it except for all the random vents and fins everywhere..

It certainly has. Poor guy, I wonder if he ever sold it in the end. At the end of the day he was asking too much from the market, even though he was in America...
Amazing car, though. The amount of work was insane! Interior has had a lot of money spent too.
Not a fan of the rear... too much like the Porsche rear vents. Looks good on the Porsche, not so much on the Zed there. The diffuser is a bit much too. IMO it would've looked better if it didn't go up and surround the rear numberplate.

Still an awesome car though :D

Amazing looking car, but you don't get a car that looks like that without spending a lot of money. Having the kit fitted properly, that paint job, those wheels and suspension set up. The cost of the kit is proboably the cheapest part.

Funny thing, the front and rear guards are done so well (ignoring the fret work), it looks like the doors don't really belong. They just don't look right to me.

A great piece of work nonetheless.

Inherent problem with widebody conversions, yeah... Only one that seems to pull it off with any semblance of style is the BEET kit.

Definitely agree with you there Barry, the doors need something else to them to make them fit with the overall aesthetic of the widebody. Although that may present issues when opening if there's too much junk stuck on to them :p

most strange ... supposedly designed and produced by a high tech company .... with a "yahoo.com" email address ...????? .. and the build pics show it happening in a back yard ... ???

.. and follow the links of the company site and it takes you to some completely different company ... strange, indeed, momma ...

At first I hated that every second photo was either sepia or black and white, but then it started to grow on me.

I tried searching for this build thread a while ago and was unsuccessful, cheers for post... even if it is a re-post. :D

I Wonder if there is a rear bar replacement that gets rid of the bulgy rear bumper, as with this, or with the twin Zed rear bar? But a stock look, with no Diffuser ?

Is there a local (meaning accessable) Gonzo or Ztoy bar that reduces the protruding bumper section ?

IMHO possibly the best mod that can be made to 'update' the look of the car

    Others of course, would disagree.

the rear bar is the only custom part of that kit, the wide fenders & skirts are just the standard strosek copy kit like gonzo used to sell & didn't he offer a couple different bars to suit? The strosek one & a wings west or kaminari I think.
Front bars just a stillen gtr-z, nose panels stillen too.

Agree though, the cars very well done but rear bars a bit over the top.

How much interest would there be for Modified rear bar ?
    Not widebody
    No Diffuser
Same as Stock - but not protruding
    Fibreglass ? or urethane-flex?
    Whose got them or
    Who could/would make them?
Who would buy them (how much interest)
What sort of cost? (would have to be cheaper than importing a product)
Would the existing anchor points require Mods? to reduce?
would exhaust require reduction and repositioning anchor points from Stock?

I would be interested in the shortened type rear bar. I would prefer urothane over fibre glass. Price as always will make or break the viabiliy of any new product.

totally agree, a cut n shut rear bar would update the back end, look at the 350z, 370z r34 and new gtr, little or no overhang on those,

the twinz rear bar lowest edge is alot lower then the stock bar ,

giving a more modern proportion, or height length ratio hahahaha :D

    to this extreme no overhang

Im just gonna put it out there, but if ztoy or someone else could produce a very simple rear bar that got rid of most or all of the 5 inches of lip the stock bar currently has, i would buy one to play with.

    Anyone second that?

I've always disliked the sticking out part of my rear bar and toyed with an option of getting rid of it, even photoshopped it! (can't find it at the moment, i think lost it during my last format) but I beleive the reason for it is there is a reo bar in there to help absorb impact etc?

Without the bump the z looks a whole lot like a ferrari!

We'll just have to be patient till someone has the time to do the Dev?
I'd like to see Photoshop of impression though?
