All coil pack connectors replaced with new connectors.

Installed New Z1-Mishimoto radiator Dec 2010

The Interior:
The interior is in good condition (albeit, stock and the Z is still 21 years old)

-Brand new rubber seals installed for targa roof on both sides in 2009
-Brand new rubber seals installed on the actual targa roof panels on both sides in 2009
-Brand new stereo system surround console fitted in 2011 so it looks great.

-The drivers seat has the usual bolster wear but I've had nice lambs wool car seat covers on them since I bought the Z.
-I'm in the middle of replacing the interior trim from an ugly white vinyl to a nicer softer to feel black vinyl.
So far I've replaced the transmission tunnel, middle pop up consol, side pieces along the transmission tunnel and up under the steering wheel.
I have ALL of the remaining pieces cut to shape and size so they only need gluing onto the remaining panels.
It's easy enough to do, just peel the old trim off and glue the new onto the plastic.

I also have 2 full cans of Permatex Heavy duty headliner adhesive to give with the Z. This stuff is simply brilliant I've used 1 can to do all the other trim panels so 2 more cans is more than enough and this stuff does not lift and holds brilliantly. The Permatex heavy duty headliner glue had held brilliantly in direct sunlight during summer.

Delivery:

I'm happy to deliver the 300ZX for FREE - see below.

Drive it to a S.Australian buyer and I'll fly onto NSW
Drive it to South Australia and a Western Australian buyer can collect it in S.A
Drive it to a Victorian buyer and I'll fly onto NSW
Drive it to a NSW for a NSW buyer and I'll save an airfare
Drive it to NSW and Qld buyer who can collect it in NSW

I'll deliver it for FREE at my expense !

I'll be happy to load up the boot space with all the spares I have. Stock vacuum hoses, airfilter box, a spare rear light garnish, spare rear indicator, spare stock 180kph speedo, spare fuel control computer, spare passengers Klippan seat belt in perfect working order, alternator, globes, rear quarter window, fuel pump and more... I have 2 big boxes of 300ZX TT spares.

OK, what needs doing:

Replace white vinyl to the softer black as mentioned above
Replace roof targa hook (Have brand new one in a box just not fitted yet)
New paint job in 3 to 5 years. Current paint is ok and with a wash, polish and wax look brilliant. It's more just little car park dents here and there, the usual stuff really.

I have to say that I've had more serious interest at $13,200 so this proves that if our cars are worth more and we should ask for more. :zlove:

I have a bloke flying in this weekend to have a look at her (but he is yet to land and if he does indeed fly in he is yet to buy her). My days in retail have taught me 1 very important lesson. It's never sold until the moneys in the bank.
Here's hoping but not getting carried away.

 

SOLD to the man with the $13,000 Westpac cheque

Hi all
As most are aware I started a thread about 300ZX values.

Well I would like to say I sold my 300ZX today. The Buyer loved what he saw and test drove and I now have a Westpac bank cheque for $13,000. I had another buyer turn up at 7.30am also offering me $13 000 but he was yet to organize finance plus I had offered today's buyer first option. I can't help but think I should have gone even higher to say $15,000

I've mentioned all the superb help from members on the forum to Roger so we should see a new member called Roger on here soon. To some who offered me $8000 my 300zx was going to be worth nothing less than $13,000 to me and I now have the bank cheque to validate this. I still stand by my comments that if my 300zx is worth $13,000 to me then it is worth $13,000 to a buyer because I will NOT allow someone Else to dictate what my Z is worth.
