Series 2 PTU conversion kit

I was having a "tidy up" last week and I stumbled across these conversion kits I made up with the Series 2 PTU.


The pigtails have staggered leads to make the conversion foolproof, and the ends have all been stripped and tinned (pre-soldered). Aluminium mounting plates were manufactured for the new PTU and stainless steel bolts, washers and Nylock nuts are supplied to hold it all together.

Two lengths of heatshrink tubing are included to finish the job professionally

I originally made these so I could do a Series 2 conversion on my zeds with the minimum of fuss AND I couldn't justify the $365 pricetag on the Nissan kit

I assumed everyone knew what a Series 2 PTU looked like, but I've been asked for a picture of the PTU instead of the PTU box....... so here you go.

PTU is included in the kit....

I've received a number of PM's asking if a PTU is included in the kit..... the answer is YES.

In the first pic the PTU is in its box (the white one), and the 2nd pic shows a PTU sitting on top of some PTU boxes.

Postage costs have risen but I'll absorb the increase on the remaining kits

 

so is this a matter of plug out and plug in?

When I made up these conversion kits I had some additional mounting plates manufactured, which allowed me to produce some extra Series2 PTU mounting kits.

When I can find where I put them, I'll be offering them for sale on here as well.
