Hate to sound dumb, but whats the difference between the 2k spec ones and the others, look the same to me...
It can be hard to see in some photos, but basically they are xenon and have a chrome interior housing: http://www.conceptzperformance.com/images/nismo/fairladyz99black2.jpg -Kirill
Am I rite in saying that lights from the states will point in the wrong direction? Where as the ones from England will be the same as us. Right hand drive.
he he. no. they point the wrong direction in the states. the ones that they sell are from japan. the us never had 2000 spec lights.
and they dont fit,i had a set here a while ago that someone left here best bet is to take them apart,2pac the insides as i have and be done with it Another option is to plastic chrome them, but be aware,in the near future, they will turn yellow
Gonzo was making them, moulded from the original inserts. Was pointed out in his thread that the high beam lense was a different shape to the insert- The lense is square ended, whereas the inserts allowed for a rounded off edge lense. Still a good fit, and gave the 2K spec look without the $2G price tag (minus the xenon of course..... and the additional wiring required)
your last line ... the covering on top of the headlight case would be the "GONZO" type "eyelids" ..... know them well .....
Big photos alert... If you examine closely, there are gaps here and there, but from a normal distance and see it overall, they look fine, and give a modern look to the lights without the $2k price tag... And so far I've noticed no problems with the lighting
Are you sure?? The ad on ConceptZ seems to suggest otherwise? http://www.conceptzperformance.com/...&Car_Type=300&UID=20110214190725203.45.114.99 Plus why they have the word 'XENON' on the chrome inserts?
inserts I was making these for awhile. But people where not sure about the gaps around the light but to me they just fine. So the moulds where thrown out sorry I can't help you out with these any more.
