Is it possible to convert seats to electric (assuming you can get the wiring done - that's gonna be the easy thing)? I will be in need of a passenger electric seat soon, and was wondering if I need the full seat or just the motors etc
Hmmmm are you sure? Couldn't you just unbolt the whole rail assy and electrical components and swap them?
just a tip, if you get your hands on another seat, you want to make sure it will fit. pretty sure the driver and passenger seat's rails dont fit the studs in the floor of the passenger side. so if you get a second electric driver seat, it wont fit the floor studs or line up with the threaded holes. and the control unit will be on the wrong side, to boot, the safety belt will be too are there electric passenger seats? both of my zeds only had electric driver..
they do come in leather. Looked at converting my motors from my electric passenger to my replacement. The interal bracketing for controls isnt there in the non-electric base. Didnt want to rip apart the backing to access the tilt adjust motor to see if they were interchangeable. SammyK's damaged NA S2 for sale has electric drivers and passenger is velour
are there electric passenger seats? both of my zeds only had electric driver..[/QUOTE] A USA drivers seat is a perfect fit and everything is on the correct side of the seat too
There's actually a 1995 Manual TT on the Goldcoast advertised on carsales which has an electric passenger seat!
I'm not thinking of putting a drivers seat in the passenger side. I have two manual seats and I want two electric ones. I have already lined up a drivers side electric seat.
