Beeping at 100km

How do i get rid of the beeping when the speedo hits 100 . This noise is driving me nuts when i had the stereo and subs in it wasn't a prob but now its all removed its so loud.

Will this be an easy job or should i take it to a pro to have it done away with

 

well you can just pretend you are in an ae86 and driving down Mt. Akina

Other than that you could use search or the tech section

 

it's actually at 103kph. It's the stock speed alert. Very easy to fix. pop the guage hood with the 2x philips scews facing down. Then you'll see a box to the left side of your guage cluster toward the top. It'll have a blue wire coming out of it. cut that wire. Fixed.

I have been trying to work it out for years. Had no idea what it was or where to look now i will be able to drive in piece with out the beep and i would think my speedo is out coz it starts at 95k but that's just another problem on the list

I was just wondering..when you remove this speed chime, does that actually remove the alert that you have left your lights on chime too??
