low k's engine

    Anyone know where i might find a low KM's TT engine or even half cut..lookin at replacing my engine..

    call some of the importers.

    forgot the name where i got mine from, halfcuts are fairly pricey tho.

    i seen some on ebay and it was like 2.5 for the motor or 3-3.5 for a half cut...

    yeah i think thats expensive, considering you get only a start up warrarnty, and usually nothing on the turbos.

    Check Adelaide Z cars. They have a 96 TT manual and they are local for you too.

    If you are not in too much of a hurry. I will have a forged TT long engine for sale in a month or so.

    whats the damage on that going to be tektrader? Auto tho?

    Prob around 4K, Its out of a manual car.

    i got my from option1 garage in QLD.
    50,xxx on engine, compression tested and a 3 month warranty not just start up.

    they had another there with 70,xxx on the clock, i had mine delivered to vic for 2.5k

    both options are sounding good..I dont know much about long engines tho....altho that would require me to learn manual..yes I know im going to cop it here...

    was just quoted 6k for a low K engine imported installed plus 100k service for it...
    um does that seem a lil steep?

    the 6k would be warranted its from a trusted zed guy in SA...but i will def talk to eric..but then still gotta pay sum1 to remove mine and fit the new one hmm...

    Sounds cheap to me. I paid $5k just for installation.

    i paid 5500 for my whole car, motor is tight as a nuns..... well u know what i mean. 90k on the motor
