    hi everyone, first post,
I bought a 1990 300zx tt today, its running rough, needs a good tune up,
is there a link for free owners manual downloads anywhere?

somone has spent a lot of money on this car but its been neglected a bit as of late, mainly its the fiberglass bodykit poorly finished off that ruins it, and it sounds like a truck running off not all cylinders.
it has 18 inch rims, running 315 tires on the rear, 2 big canon exhausts, full stainless system makes it look pretty tough.

    Thanks all

Your firing problem is most likely a dodgy connector. I'd replace all coilpack and injector connectors.
As for a owners manual download, I'd be keen to know that too.

You can download a full version here: http://carfiche.com/manuals023/cars/ though you have to be lucky as they change what you can download every hour which is odd, it says z32 manual is tna which is temporarily not available. I dl'd it and got it printed and bound :D

There are links in the tech section to service manuals online too..

By the sounds of it you may have bought forum member gonzo's car? If the cars missing look in the tech section as there are some good articles in there but might be a good idea to check engine connectors for corrosion, check the plugs and also look for any boost leaks.

Sheez, how much would it cost to buy all the coil packs? i did notice im missing 2 of the rubber grommits that waterproof the connectors on the coil packs, are they available anywhere?
where is the best place to buy coil packs

    I see a busa in ya avatar, i have 2 TL1000R's

interesting, i might look up some of gonzos posts as i beleive this fella was a member of zx clubs although i bought this car off his dad as apparently the owner had some bad times and his dad bought it off him to help him out a bit,
im checking all the connectors now and replacing plugs.

i had to drive this car home for 2 hours running off what sounded like 4 cylinders !!!

this sounds good, im going to consider that for sure and support the forum at the same time.

You're looking at around 100 + post which should only be roughly 20.

Set of coil pack connectors you need are here:
    http://www.conceptzperformance.com/...Type=NIS300&UID=20101112171726110.175.202.164

    And set of injector connectors:
    http://www.conceptzperformance.com/...Type=NIS300&UID=20101112171726110.175.202.164

I just ordered a set of coilpack connectors and the tabs have broken off on all of them now :( I replaced ALL of my injector connectors a couple months ago and noticed the difference straight away.

Yeah the busa is my daily. Fantastic bike and great on fuel. Took a side step from a ZX12R which saw me through few years of trouble free riding.

I've always been interested in the TLR's but never ridden one. Don't seam to be many of them around. Why have two? Must take up a bit of room, maybe send one down my way as I have plenty of storage :D

    coil pack connectors

the coil pack connectors and injector connectors are all new on the car.
There was one that every now and then use to work it self lose so it needs to be pushed back in place then the engine runs fine.
    I should have fixed that.
The clips that hold it on to the coil pack where broken.

And for the record my Dad passed away Dec 2008
