I have heard that before on some events in sydney, the no defects is not a promise from the police it is a tale of chinese whispers. My theory Organisers - Lets tell the police what we are doing so they will be on our side Police - Yes thankyou for letting us know, we will patrol your cruise for you Organisers - Yay the police know about our cruise and are coming along so that means we can all not get defected because it doesnt matter that we all have illegal cars, cos it is for charity Maybe i will get the police to come and supervise some drug dealers and then get the dealers to contribute the proceeds to charity because then they won't get in trouble because as long as the police are watching over us it doesnt matter if we do illegal things.
That night cruise starts around my bed time. But on Nov 6, I'll be on the Gold Coast partying hard, way past my bed time Sorry Haylz
