if you can get a new motor for $1500 or so just drop that in and part out your old motor will work out quite cheap
your car non turbo or twin turbo? ill sell you a pair of good unwarped n/a heads for 500 including shipping... good upwarped TT heads 700 including shipping.
Just blew a head gasket recently and I'm in the process of swapping the engine out. Head gasket replacement is an "engine out" job so you may aswell just get a new one, more cost effective.
Just bought a plenum to polish and it's coated with oil on the inside... assuming that's not meant to be?
oil the inside of the plenum is always coated in a light film of oil because the PCVs recirculate into there. But if the oil is pooling considerably that its causing puddles in the plenum, then thats not normal.
cannot resist anymore... Sorry mate you are stuck with the head you currently have, sounds like there is plenty of room in it though.
