got this front bar off the net but the lights don't seem to fit is it just a dodgy made front bar or is there a size difference in the lights[/IMG][/IMG]
the lights are meant to fit, so it seems that youve bought a "less than perfect" copy, you get what you pay for when it comes to bodykits unfortunately....ebay im geussing? looks like a veilside copy buts hard to tell from that pic..... when they make a copy of a front bar, the molds get worse and worse the more they use them, so a older/well used mold will produce imperfect copys like this one all is not lost though, grab out the fibreglass and some sandpaper and set about making it fit properly, its fidly but doable...........
not ebay some place down melb the bar is identical to my old 1 other lights fit but not the inner set is there diff lights sizes [/IMG]
no, they are all a standard size as i mentioned, you will now need to modify the bar slightly to make them fit, or alternatively you could take it back and ask for a refund........if your having troubles with the fitment of the lights, i dont think the way it lines up with the gaurds is going to be pretty!........your car, your call aye
re front bar sittin at a round about a 4x4 hit me from behind pushed me into the next car result z sandwich i dont think it will over line up heaps of things just dont sit right[/IMG]
I once bought this "cheap" aftermarket m3 kit for e36 BMW i had. Big mistake took me 3 days to get the front bar fitting and lookin ok. The rest i didnt bother. Suggestion to save ur self time and crappy looking car is to scrap that and get a quality fiberglass one or factory one. It will fit 100% Another tip i wouldn't put veilside front bar. They seem to devalue the car Im yet to see a car that their front bar looks good on. Just a tip though but if u like it thats all it matters.
of the 10 or so different front bar designs out there, why did you choose c1 veilside? just curious, i'd just like to enter the mind of a veilsider
be warned, you might not like what you discover. Its like walking through the streets of TianXi in China, discovering one day what "appears" to be a pet shop, complete with baby fawn outside. Veilside fans seem normal on first impressions. However, when you walk past the next day, to see the same fawn, minus a leg, and notice all of the dining tables inside the establishment...... The internal workings of a Veilside fan are not something you want to delve into.... and its something you will never forget.
i dont think much of any kits but like i stated at the start it was just to replace what was there the car came with the kit[/IMG]
can some 1 show me a picture of the reo as i don't think i have 1 and havn't had 1 since i owned the car [/IMG]
