Battery light indicator lit up yesterday. Pulled in to Midas to check battery, it's fine. Tonight The Z just won't start. Different sound to if the starter motor was dead. I'm assuming the alternator is ****ed. No error codes on ECU. Edit: The 'Lights' Indicator lit up yesterday night shortly after the battery indicator lit up as-well, although it did dim and eventually turn off later that night. Edit 2: Car did start fine this morning and this afternoon after work, It just didn't want to start tonight. I can usually always hear a buzzing noise from the rear tail-light when they are on. May or may not be related. Thoughts?
Can't Edit: When ignition is set to accesories the dash and all LED's light up. Power steering is dead and brake is hard as all hell. Thats all the info I got. Could it be anything else other then alternator?

sounds like a semi dead battery or bad connections, you are getting enough power to throw out the bendix in starter motor but not enough to turn the whole engine. try jumper leads or better yet a known good battery out of another car. you say it sounds like its under the accelerator that is because that is where your starter is. I would also say find out why the battery is low if that is the cause, start with testing the alternator output, with a multimeter check the voltage at the battery with the car off and then once you get it running. As an aside to all the battery/alternator issues lately, I got my turbo timer from superc...p, at $76 it was an alright buy and it doubles as a voltmeter, while the ignition is turned on, really handy.
as others have suggested, battery/leads etc but could also be the starter bendix is clashing with the flywheel teeth. Common when the starter motor mounting bolts come loose. Don't try to start it again until you have checked this as you can/will damage start motor and/or flywheel. Also check that before you plunk money on anything.
All of the above! Having just been through these problems, I will say both starter solenoid, and alternator are stuffed. cheers, Andy.
