hi guys can anyone recommend any engineers/panel beaters or something wanting to modify my zed, looking at getting rear end widened(for fatter tire's) and some mods done bigger tank etc, i want to do everything legit so the police cant pick on me and get me for mods, for when its complete. also do i have to goto the transport department and ask them all these questions before i get anything modified and ask if they could refer me to someone. i know i need mod plates which i get an approved engineer to issue. last thing i want to do is spend my money on modifications and it dosent get approved and cant drive it on the road or club events regards shaun

i dont understand about the "4lb mallets widen things" i want a professional to do the work so its all legit. bigger tank is for the fuel consuption, and for extra weight as you all know the rear end is really light. and having a motor work done on it. to produce more power. i want a customized tank

The car is fairly well balanced actually. It's got a big enough tank and try lifting the hatch with the gas struts removed.
I learned the hard way removing the hatch. Accidently smashing the glass before removing it completely, made it a bit lighter. Whoops!
lmao thanks guys yerh, i know about the boot lid, hmm when my last zed met its fate with a fence. we about me and 3 of my mates stripped it, no issues their, the funnest part was cuting the front end with a oxy/blow torch(wiring loom actually burns really well) that was an expensive venture. hmm thanks for the advise rollin much apreciated.
hoping to get some names of specialists i can use, or preferred panel beaters to use. i have a 4seater...... going to pull the rear seats out and either put an additional tank or just a custom larger tank. having a motor put in the shop to get some work done to it, to produce more power. hence the reason for a bigger tank better fuel consumption, rather than getting 200-400km on a standard tank, and those who know me(know i drive my cars hard) ah well all good ill have to source everything my self thanks for the input guys, much appreciated.
Forgot to mention the weight of the diff too. Yeah, can find some specialists Here, here or maybe here...
