ok so my car, cima. VG30DETT motor with single turbo manifold. now first question, any one local to me that can have a look at my engine bay and just see whats good and whats not, i know alot and do all my own work, but am still learning VGs, first issue is its very hard to start, all the time, worse when cold.. it cranks and cranks, then fires once or twice, then a few more cylnders kick in, its allmost like it just fires 1 cyl at a time for the first 20sec trying to start. then i have a idle problem, some times its ok others not, and i have the AAC valve adjusted fully out and it idles at 900 when good.i think the valve is busted because of this issue, it would just be really cool if some one could just have a quick look over it for me thankyou Ryan
Hmm, without wanting to start a pissing contest, certainly plenty of gurus on here, namely Chrispy, Zed4life and the list goes on. As far as qualified mechanics go though, Niall (Rollin) is probably the closest to you. Also Eric (DRZ400Y) would be the next closest qualified mechanic I think. im not concerned with "titles" juts want a friendly person willing to have a peak. can supply beer see how many that brings out. im going to go aftermarket ecu later so worst case ill just put up with it till then, loom is old and brittle, so im sure there are many things not working
PTU! Did you say beer? Well that cancels out Chrispy right there. Did you get your TT ECU and is it stock? It should matter if it's a 22 or 23 in your situation. Might just need a few adjustments. Is it really fuelly while it's running like balls? I'd like to come check it out one day, for tech or not.
