Not sure if i want to spend at all yet. If nothing can provide better spool up than the stock auto turbos them i'm probably just going to stick with them. As I'm really only after acceleration gains. Not really concerned with top end power

So do you want response OR acceleration and top end power?

If you are after acceleration, then you use maximum rpm and engine output throughout the top end of the gear limits.

    Nothing will outspool auto turbos.....

The auto turbos are about the smallest practical turbo you can fit on a zed, so you won't find anything that will spool quicker without absolutely killing your top end power

The obvious way to increase your acceleration (seeing you already have an NA diff) is to increase your boost. It's amazing the difference an extra 5lb of boost makes to a stock zeds performance

    What about changing diff gears?

I had thought this exact same thing when I saw the 4.11 richmond leader gear diff advertised for sale the other night.

The NA already uses a 4.083 ratio. Going to a 4.11 will make very little difference.

I haven't got an NA diff yet. But if one was up for sale i'd probably look into buying it depending on the price and condition.

The other concern I have is. How can you limit initial wheel spin upon launching? Probably a question for you guys who are into drag racing. Without changing the tyres? Like is there an electronic way of limiting wheels spin or mechanical technique?

    mr zed x chassis scrubbin..

so a JWT530 could see up to 500hp @ the wheels.
    thats fair good power.

what size are the exhaust housings on them? if you had like a t28 with the same sized exhaust housing fit on them would there be much difference in spool ?

Funny ,, you guys talking about turbos in the US and the guys are talking about the turbos in AUS>..

Looking at the Billetturbochargers.com...ceramic ball bearings nitrite coating,, newer wheels...!!

But think how good it could be with better sized turbos. Except maybe for a race car two GT28's flow too much air to be an optimum performance turbo choice for a three liter engine.

Clearly you have never spoken to anyone who has GT28R turbos?

its simple really. buy bigger turbos.. ball bearing. with supporting mods and u will have bugger all lag,,,,,

its a compromise. since u will want 2 boost your new system so what actuators are you going 2 run... im running 1 bar actuators (start opening at 1 bar, fully open by 18psi) stocks start opening at 6/7 psi and are fully open by 12psi,,,

that changes how you boost... sure u could put a 2psi actuator on a turbo but your then going 2 limit how much boost it will hold,,, generally u can hold 10psi over base pressure on internal gates...

my hks turbos have bugger all lag , and they come on like a bat out of hell
