I need one of these ratios (approx) for my racecar. does anyone know if they exist & what they are fitted to so I can find one?
Better yet, anyone got one? can be open centre or lsd.

The only other available options for the R230 are from Nissan Pathfinders and Amarda's. They have these 3 ratios in their rear r230 diff, 2.94, 3.35, 3.53, unforetunatly none of these will fit the Z32 r230, the pinion is much smaller diameter with the crown being the same thickness which means the pinion is located more centrally in the higher ratio diffs 2.94, 3.35 and 3.53.

Lol edit, I see you want r200 ratios, anyway some useful info there for r230

Nah, no good. I have a 4.1 ATM & went to the track for the first time the other day. It was way too low for 2nd gear & too high for 3rd. (Its a speedway car)

Check with the guys on the R31 sites or the S13 crew as there are a wide range of ratios for the R200. There is a 5.something from one of the nissan utes that is available I believe. Try ringing some of the Jap Wreckers they may know.

RedZedMikey RZM should now be DZM

Massive difference between 3.4 and 5.3.
If this is intended and not a typo of 3.5, does this mean with a 3.4 ratio you will leave it in 2nd, alternatively with a 5.3 you will leave it in 3rd???

Sounds like you're better off with close-ratio gearbox gearing. Don't OS Giken do a close ratio gearset? It costs a bit though.

Try give Geoff @ SSS automotive (Giraween, Sydney) a call, he runs a GTR in production car racing and will be able to tell you the ratio's available for the different R200's,

    Thats right. (not a typo)
I might have found a 3.486 out of a N/A R34 auto. I'll find out if it is right this week..... :)

I missed your post before. I actually went searching through a jap wreckers pile of diffs, & found one of these.
It wasnt a straight fit, but the crown & pinion are the same so I swapped these into my housing & bobs your uncle.
    Thanks for your help guys.

P.S. If anyone has a spare N/A auto diff I can have or swap for a TT one, please let me know :)
