Popping after lifter replacement

Just finished replacing all the lifters in my tt, got it all back together, started it up and I get a popping on cylinder 3, sounds a bit like a miss, I have changed the plug and all leads and its still there, funny thing is it goes away after a couple of mins of idle and is not there when the engine is warm. When I started it up this morning it was there again.
So I am wondering if a lighter oil might fix the problem, maybe there is a weaker spring on that cylinder and the new lifter isn't draining... any help would be great....:mad::mad::mad:

Lifters are not supposed to drain, that may be your issue. some crap under ther ball valve will cause this

I guess thats possible, I did make sure everything was spotless, dropped the oil before I started. the motor was fully rebuilt last year and I have only done about 2000klms, I changed the oil after 500 and it was spotless, as it was last week when I dropped it.

If it was a bit of c under the ball valve why would it go away after a couple of mins and be back when the donk is cold
