Is there anywhere on the Forum that explains the format for the Great Ocean Road Run, just wanted to know meeting point,Time, destination, Route, etc' I've had numerous go's at the search function under GOR etc etc but haven't managed to find the answer, If anyone can point me in the right direction please. Dave.
Usually meet at the todd rd shell servo If i remember correctly. Then we head over the westgate bridge to geelong to meet another group. Further details will be posted closer to the date. This is an annual event so you won't miss it.
As Tim said, I'm sure the organiser will put up a thread closer to the date, but to have a look at more information have a look through some of the old threads in 'Coming Events' and 'Post Event discussion' sub-forums. At a quick glance have a look through these... 2009 GOR attempt 2 (Nov) 'Coming Event' thread: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=291924 Post Event Discussion: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=295656 2009 GOR attempt 1 (April) 'Coming Event' thread: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=286856 2008 GOR #6 Coming Events thread: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=273574 Post Event discussion: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=274239
I haven't missed GOR since '07. Without doubt the best VIC cruise and we often have interstate visitors members joining in if they are in town. Last year it was done twice due to the one early in the year been rained in so most people stayed home. Usually if GOR happens there will be one between Feb-Apr or during November. Meetup for the metro members is usually always Todd road servo early in the morning say 8-9 departure.
Fantastic thanks MikeZ32, I'm really looking forward to this as soon as the MX5 sells I'll be hunting down a Z, so November should give me time to get it all happening.+ Dave
Can't wait for this year... Last year had to bring my mates s15 as mine was getting sprayed... This year however... Best cruise, and a big shout out to the organizers who do an excellent job EVERY year, good mix of off GOR twists and lunch/photo spots. Can't wait... Elie.
