Does anyone know of any places producing engine mounts for this conversion? and if so, do these mounts allow you to use the standard bonnet?

secondly, is there room for a larger turbo, using the standard manifold?

I'm planning a build for another Z, and looking at going down the VQ road. Any help or links to info would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers.

I don't know of anyone making the mounts, but that is the least of your worries. You also need a custom sump which is a huge headache.

I haven't seen a VQ with a standard inlet manifold fit below the bonnet of a Z32 without major crossmember mods.

I don't see why a larger turbo wouldn't fit, but I haven't had a good look at a VQ in a Z32 in the flesh.

    Thanks for the reply.

I thought I'd read somewhere that there was a sump from another car that fit, rather than having a custom one made up.

The standard inlet manifold is ugly anyway... although a custom one would be bloody expensive. :)
