Well my spare engine is at my mates engine building shop, getting forged internals and possibly a light porting on heads, unsure whether i will or just port match.

Hes stripping it down within the next week and telling me what size pistons to order.

Basically my current engine sucked in heaps of water and isnt the same beast it used to be :(

Plan for engine is to crack 300rwkw eventually but at the moment do all the necessary stuff so I don't have to pull the engine again.

Later when cash permits will be injectors, probably some 400 series cams and a good tune, possibly microtech but i'll look into nistune etc when the time comes.

Plan to just have low boost until then so stock injectors can stay.

I have T25/28 Hybrid turbos with .83 A/R I gonna take to turbo shop to check they all okay and to also get a quote on how much to swap to .64 A/R to reduce lag.

Just trying to make up a list of required parts so I can order everything for my mate, would like some feedback on whether I've missed anything or any other suggestions.

I'm getting the "Z1 Ultimate VG30DETT rebuild kit"
    http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=2833

    comes with:

Wiseco forged pistons with new rings
    Complete Nissan Engine Gasket Kit
Full 60K Kit (Timing Idler pulleys optional)
    New Nissan oil pump
New Nissan Rod and Main Bearings (you are responsible for providing grades)
    12 New Nissan Rod bolts
    12 New Nissan Freeze Plugs
    4 Block oil galley plugs
    2 Block deck check valves
2 Half Moon (Exhaust valve cover seals)
1 Tube of Ultra Grey Silicone

    I'm adding/changing it to:

    Eagle Rods
    Cometic Headgasket
    Fuel Rail to plenum seals
Belts for underdrive crank pulley (I already have a GFB underdrive pulley)

    Additional Parts:

    AMS Turbo Exhaust manifolds

So thats the list so far, dunno if I'll buy valve stem seals or if my mate will provide them I'll have to check.

    Any Suggestions/tips would be great.

New Efi harness while the engine is out and egr bypass kit and silicone vac hose kits for IAA and all that crap.
probably knock sensor sub harness, PCV valves and silicone hoses and a water temp sensor while your at it.
I would replace O2 sensors too if they are old....

Sorry I probably should have gone into more detail on what I've already done to engine, water bypass and egr delete is done. Among a few other things like ASI 56mm rad and new t'stat.

All of that is done already except for knock sensor and efi harnesses, thanks for the suggestions tho!

    I'm considering deleting hicas

For simplicity, makes a plenum pull easy as and one less thing that can stuff up, its not needed.

Then how is the fuel tank going to breathe without vapours building up in places it shouldn't?
