Gday people i have search and search and could not find anything relating to my problem the red warning light is constantly on in my 1990 tt only happened about 2 maybe 3 hrs ago after parking then returning to my car...on idle it will go away but then all you get is a buzzing sound comming from or near my cluster as soon as you touch the accelerator the light comes back and the buzzing is gone. i just had my engine rebuilt and passenger side turbo rebuilt aswell the engine itself is still running in not sure if that has anything to do with it.
didnt take notice earlier but also the stock boost gauge instead of going into positive boost the needle is going the opposite way....its not moving forward at all and when the car boosts it goes to the -7.
Go round the back Jack' Go around behind the car with your headlights on and engine running and see if one of your rear lights are out! (yeah i know it's "Out There!!" but humor me)
search "u_games" threads, he has the answers to this. happened to me not long ago, just a swift slap with a hammer on the black box and all good.
nah its not the 3rd brake light because i dont have a third brake light never did since i got the car
