NA ecu on TT

can i use a NA ecu to start a TT? just want to test start the car, not really running it.

currently my TT wont start, now suspecting the ecu.....and i have a NA ecu handy....both Auto ecu

 

No. I tried this before, NA ECU in TT car. Didn't work. Don't know why.

Yes, NA ecu will start a TT and is drivable with an NA auto ecu in TT manual or auto Zed. You'll be in safety boost.

Can a TT rom be used in an NA if you change all the fuel maps to NA maps?

want to use a tt rom with iav deleted in an NA

 

i did try TT ECU on NA too (just plug and try, why not), it works! or i should say the TT ecu can start NA, but from what i can hear from the engine bay, idle bit rough tho.

 

Hmmm will have to burn a modified tt rom and try it , probably have to change the fuel maps and injector settings for starters, sounds promising

 

You can use an NA ecu in a TT zed just to test but there will be no boost control so it will be on safety boost.

If you have an NA to TT conversion and an aftermarket Boost controlller then the answer is purely yes (if the NA ecu is chipped with the right maps for your car)
