yes you can but with higher fuel pressure .(guessing you mean series 1, 555's) you can run more with series 2 ,I had 350rwkw with the series 2 555's with more in it
Fleet easily did it in his race car .(436rwkw?) Cant remember his fuel pressure tho. shoot him a pm. Trev
you guys think you can run big power like 400rwkw constantly without injector failure? Like i mean, if a injctor is running close to its maximum ability, is it more prone to giving way? cheers
it will heat the fuel up more as it flows through the hotter injector, not sure how much life expecancy is affected though
The later series 555's are 615cc, they should be able to handle 400kw. If it was my car I'd just forget about 555s and go 740s nismo's.
Yeah unfortunately I have the Nismo 555's already in the car and tuned pushing 315wkw at 13 psi I remember someone saying that they can be pushed to 400kw but they were running over 90%. I just want to know would running close to maximum flow decrease the life of an injector? Thanks
Simple answer is no, but operating the injectors say at 90 percent of their capacity is not where you want to be, you'd want to be very sure every thing else was in top condition (fuel pump fpr ect) because if any of the fuel system components aren't up to scratch, well I guess you know what could happen. "I just want to know would running close to maximum flow decrease the life of an injector?"
if you told me last week i could have, but now its all in the car and tuned and wont be feasible to re-tune and labour to change them. Thanks for the offer though mate
