Been lazy and not being motivated for a while, or I should say wallet wasn't heavy enough.

After enough reading I have decided to order the gears to swap the engine. The goal is drop the rebuilt engine and then look for further modification as required along the line. Already have bigger SMIC and full 2.5 catback.

I have the cost for each puzzle and made my mind to go with the first one. But have your say and warn me if I am about to do any mistake.

Regardless which setup I am going for the turbos, the fuel setup will be
nismo 760cc new type injectors with 300 degree fuel rail dual in dual out.
and Haltech Platinum Pro Plug-in Z32 ECU

Already got New 95+ LHD harness
    Two new engine mount
There will be more items added but just need to lock the shopping list for Turbos, Manifolds and dumps.

    Shopping List 1
    From CZP
    Garrett 300ZX GT2871R Ball Bearing Turbo Kit (750HP) .64 A/R aka Z1 GT675RS Turbo Kit
    http://www.conceptzperformance.com/...Car_Type=300&UID=20100211184711202.89.160.202
    MSP Manifolds
    SZ 3" Downpipes
    US$3745 to my door.

    Shopping List 2
    From AMS
    Garrett 300ZX GT2871R Ball Bearing Turbo Kit (750HP) .64 A/R aka Z1 GT675RS Turbo Kit
    http://amszstore.com/main/product_info.php?cPath=21_68&products_id=79
    AMS manifolds
ToyZ 5 bolt 3 inch dump
    US$3180 to my door.

    Shopping List 3
    From SZ
    SZ EXP-90 Turbo Kits
    http://www.specialtyz.com/turbos_szexp90.htm
    MSP Manifolds
    SZ 5 bolt 3" Downpipes
    US$5125 to my door.

I am more convinced to go for first shopping list and couldn't justify spending extra A$1600 for SZ900 kit since my car will not be used for track.

Also is it worth spending extra A$630 for MS manifold and SZ dump over AMS manifold and Toyz 3 inch dump.
I didn't have any chance to get them check physically so whoever gone through with the upgrade process you are more than welcome to share your opinions. There will be no going back once items are ordered so it is worth checking with others.

Quick Question: Does it matter who is supplying Garrett 300ZX GT2871R Ball Bearing Turbo Kit (750HP) .64 A/R aka Z1 GT675RS Turbo Kit? Is it all the same stock for the kit in CZP, Z1 or AMS? Did anyone buy turbos from CZP?

I would buy number 2. Cause its cheaper and you wont be able to tell the difference between that and number 1 once its on the car.

Also I dont like the compressor outlets on Coz's version of the turbos. That 3 bolt flange is rubbish. It may have been OK on the stock turbos but it is past its use by date on these big ones.

I thought so. And extra amount can go for other mods like better clutch, Full 3 inch exhaust, GFB light crank pulley etc.

Spend the difference on a real crank pulley/balancer like the Ross one.

Your car is going to SMOKE when you have all this on it. :D

Are you sure you want as much lag as that turbo has? Look at the SZ dyno plot. It really comes on late.

    Both setups

use reducers after the flange to connect to the stock pipes, Its going to make no difference either way, unless he uses bigger inlet and out let pipes.

Spose you are right Geoff. But I still would rather have the big funnels that the AMS ones offer.

The housings are the same as the GT28RS I have downstairs. I will measure them tomorrow.

    3rd on that as well.
My GT675rs's work very well. I'm quite pleased with my ToyZ 3" dumps and 3"-2.5" polished SS resonated TP's. All of which I got from AMS.
If you're looking to save a few more clams, perhaps you might want to consider this - http://amszstore.com/main/product_info.php?cPath=21_69&products_id=238 coupled with the PE850cc injectors, you stand to save a even more than the Nismo 760's and 300* rail.

the 3 bolt is 1.5" (38mm) where it bolts on to turbo then tapers to 45mm .

definitely needs to go in the bin from gt28rs onwards.

That just about seals the fate of the CZP turbo kit. AMS is a better package with those turbo housings

FWIW, this is from almost 2 years ago. Happy to say that after almost 30,000kms and all kinds of weather conditions, no issues whatsoever with any of those parts.
