Hey guys I have just converted my na to TT, when I turn the ignition it starts fine and idles fine by when I pull the accelerator cable it goes up to about 1500 revs, and then dies in the ass and goes down, so pretty much every time you go to rev it, the revs build then fall. what could this possibly be?? Cheers in advance
The conections look pretty clean, no corrosion one question though is the afm for na and tt the same??
Code 54 says ECU cannot communicate with ATCU. Which is normal if you have a manual g/box and an auto ECU.
Sorry for going a bit off topic and of no help but I need to ask you something. When you converted to TT, did you have to swap the wiring harness? Is there any connections the TT requires that the NA harness lacks or are they the same?
Nah I used the na harness and bought a electronic boost controller for the turbos and bypassed the fuel pump computer and also changed the pump and bought an aftermarket regulator
what does it do when it gets to 1400rpm does it sound like it hitting a rev limiter or sound like no fuel. does it back fire at all. i would try another ecu for starters. make sure your fuel lines are the right way around.
make sure your tps is connected up properly. if its only reving to 1400 might not even be plugged in.
It does nothing when it gets to 1400 it just sits there! And then when you back off and and hit the throttle again it chokes itself, I'm pretty sure the Tps is working, i've set it to .46v, yeah were gonna try another ecu, but till then anyone have other ideas??
Huh ???? ..what exactly did they do to your NA ECU to enable it to run a TT ??? .. hope it came with a remote
Please post additional details about your conversion, did you go with side mounted intercoolers or a front mount, any other custom work like what you described for the fuel pump/regulator set-up?
