Hey guys im speaking to someone i know bout making a set for me out of fiber glass. and if the work is good enough he will be keeping the moulds to make more . so if it all goes to plan he will be working out a cheap price and be using me as a distributor for him to this forum. again its not official yet... but hopefully soon it will be

if you can get them made, and be good quality etc etc you probly have a market.

get a prototype made up, and post pics of before fitment, after fitment and painted as soon as you can.

Thats the plan mate. h will be putting a black pigment into the mix so painting wont really be an issue straight away. But yeah ill be giving him mine this week so he can make the mould. if things work with the standard blaxk pigment other coulors will be available made to order. i guarentee there will be no profiteering on my behalf... just his price when it happens

Cool, definitely interested. I just gave mine a coat of paint and they still look average.

GOD YES. New ones are so stupidly overpriced.

In for a pair or maybe just the passenger side pending how well I can recondition my (in tact) driver's side.

Should be popular as these are always a popular group buy item. Cost of the clips is also ridiculous from Nissan. I've found COZ is he cheapest but you have to weigh it up against the shipping cost.

Martin i personally dont think spending over a grand on second hand recaro seats and vielside exhaust is a good buy but people still do it...everybody is different and entitled to their opinion and buying options...their money their choice...i would rather spend $50 or so extra for a spare cowl set which are easy to break rather than wank factor as in owning a piece of history :)

Dude, windscreen cowls don't break once you put them on - apart from 20 years of sun damage. Why would you need two? :\

I'm pretty sure most of the people on the forum would support OEM Recaro's and a good brand name exhaust...

I have seen a new set of cowls break when they were taken out...and whats the problem if i choose to have a spare set? Dont think its going to kill anybody lol

My view on the whole recaro seats is that why pay 1.5k for a genuine used set when you can buy a brand new set for the same price or cheaper...same goes for the exhaust, why pay 1k or more for a second hand exhaust (which does sound good) when for cheaper you can get a full exhaust system custom built? Thats my personal opinion...dont need to agree with it :) back on topic...the producer would have a good market if they are successfull in making these :)

The major damage over time is caused more by battery fumes rather than the sun. That's why the passenger side one is the one that always falls apart
