already in the mitsubishi camp mate (got a triton). doesn't matter if you don't have a zed. to be honest i wish i had gone to these before purchasing my zed, gives you a chance to get up close, personal and get first hand experience with these cars before you buy.

    UPDATE

coz i know your too lazy to read through all 100 posts

    So heres the 411..

    6A cannon court
    Alexander Heights.
    0419902669

The one on the left, I'm sure you'll work it out when you get here..

Unless its a big ass night the night before I'll be up and working 8-9+ so if you have big jobs or lots to do you might want to rock up 9ish to get cracking on it.

I have a spare garage that will be open for major work, my zed gets the other side for my engine pull. But we have plenty of driveway that can be jacked up and used.

Rob, I have plenty of bench space, 2 vices if ya need one.... both within 1 m of the beer fridge haha

fridge and BBq supplied of course lol.. should be a good day... and for those they guys that feel like bringing their missus over, mine will be floating around and probably others if they need company lol

Careful though.... jay has a 2:1 ratio of bolts to pain

every 2nd bolt he touches he hurts himself on...

Yer, well I would love to come along... two probs though...

    1. I get home (hopefully) this Friday after 2 weeks away in Melbourne (so missus and kids are really missing me)
    2. Missus wants me to wait a while for the zed, so it may be a looong while (Her idea of "a while" and mine don't quite match up).

Otherwise, yep, I agree, a Tech day sounds like a great idea.

Oh, I am seriously considering buying one of the Conzult cables so I can do my own checks when I am really serious about looking.

I'm taking LnP's advice, and gonna wait till I see one that is 100% what I want, and not just a case of "yer, that'll do". (Thanks LnP :D)

Oh yer, forgot to mention (for future reference)..

    [OT a little]

I am an Electronics Technician by trade but have been working in IT for about 10 years, so when I do finally get to come along, I can assist more with Electrics than mechanics.

yeh, we seem to be seeing more and more people submitting to the wife or gf.
i'm not married but been in my relationship for 5 years, i tend to just do it and tell them later.
'hey babe guess what i bought today'.
that way you've already done it, and they can get used to the idea.

definitely right attitude with waiting for the perfect one. for now i'd just keep looking at one's for sale to get an idea of what the market is like, x amount of dollars will buy you this. that way you'll know when you've found a good value for money one.

    tomorrows the go fellas!

after a warm up engine pull today i'm all set for my stuff and at the speed we worked today shouldn't take long at all...

forcast is for showers early then clearing in the morning so fingers crossed it passes before people get here...

i have a spare garage for some one with a lot of work can set up in.

i think the neighbours have gone away, they said they were about now and i havent seen them for a while.... they are old people and we cant smell anything iffy so we assume they are away, meaning we have the whole driveway to ourselves! woot!
