Jake, there are a number of people that live in Rockingham.

There's me, EzzupTurbo, NissZed90, ChilledPain, Dodgey and Awegazm just as a start (I'm certain I've missed somebody :(). There are a couple of guys that live in Mandurah (MichAndy, Brock32), and another that lives in Kwinana (TurkeyFetus). I think we must be the zed capital of WA :) :zlove:

You Rocko boys just think you're so bloody great!

Dedzed and I are the Freo boys. Cafe strip reprezent yo!

If you want it to be louder, go the exhaust, but from a power perspective cat backs don't seem to do too much to the non turbos :)

For parts here in WA you're in luck - there are a few people wrecking cars at the moment, myself included, but the two names you should really remember when you think "spare parts" are Ross (Jinxed) and Jamie (Chilledpain). Between them they must have wrecked over a dozen zeds by now, and Jamie lives in Rockingham too, so nice and close to you.

As for needing any minor mechanical work done, there is no better place to do it than a WA tech day! :D

If you want rims (or anything else) painted I suggest you talk to Vizard. His work is excellent. :)

Oh, and if you're wanting to convert that automatic to a manual I have a conversion kit I'm wanting to get rid of. ;)

    Welcome aboard!

There's 3 mechanically minded people here you need to be best friends with.
    Randon order,
    Ezupturbo (Chris)
    chilledpain (Jamie)
    Awgazam (aiden).
Electical, you can't go past vader.
    Dumb mistakes, Idiot1 and myself.

Your in luck too, they all live near you. Except the idiots.
Time to find a few new friends!:D

    You should do NOTHING!

Keep it for a few months, see if there are any recurring problems and see how much it burns a hole through your pocket, not sure what u do as a job but chances are it'll require some sort of maintenance.

After you have everything sorted and if you aren't sick of it by then, then go for your life and mod the exterior.....

Hey guys, Hey Jake, I'm also fairly new to the ZX scene as I switched from a 1992 Holden Statesman V8! My TT Auto Z 1989 is a beautiful car and after being imported has simply had extra heavy duty cooling systems fitted and a HKS Pod filter. Other than that it is completely stock. My Z is running ever-so-slightly rough due to a diagnosis of a worn out P.T.U. As previously mentioned being an almost ideal replacement upfront, I have just purchased one to hopefully fix my car's electrical problem. Anyways, good luck with your modifications and believe me, these boys know what they're talking about with their recommendations. I have a mechanical background and they are bang on in what they say.

    Have fun with your Z!

    Mitchell.
