I've got this same gauge in the same place Are you sure the front bar has to come off for a fender pull? Can't be got at by removing the wheel arch lining or something? I've got new hinges 'cause that's what I thought it was...

I had this from a previous owner, it's simple to get rid of. Smack it with a hammer 'til it's vaguely straight and vertical. Then get some solid planks or something on either side and compress them together with a clamp. Should do it.

When all's done, do yourself a favour and knock yourself up one of these. Took me 2 minutes with a spare lump of wood and a jigsaw. Saves your sills and allows you to still jack up your Z.



I can bring that and a standard scissor jack to aid with the door raising if you like? hopefully we can get mine done too. You can have the hinges if I don't need them and yours are gone.

Anyone reckon they could help me with my O2's? need to get them if so...

I can bring an O2 sensor socket and a 1/2 inch universal joint (may need 22mm impact socket as well), but we will still need a breaker bar and some extensions. MoulaZX helped me with mine, if he is coming maybe he can bring these??

 

oh and just into relation to my issues of the power window, is somebody able to take a spare motor. might need it if it turns out to be the issue.

 

Haha... its aight... its only a matter of time till I get rego for it, and in the mean time, pennyarvs said he will help with the suspension, so should be good for the next Tech Day.. whenever that is... Can't wait to go for a cruise in my car...

 

Start time is around 9am... you are welcome to come earlier and start on any task you want done, but I have to pick-up fresh food supplies for lunch and will open the factory unit around 9am. Finish time is when the last car leaves....
You can bring anything you like to sell, so long as nothing is left behind at the end of the day. Does not have to be Zed or car-related.

Sorry Steven... the date is definitely the 16th (subject to weather. If we have to cancel it will be the 23rd). I had requested the Mods to change the original thread date from the 9th straight after initial posting, but it didn't happen... oops.
