Has anybody seen a surge tank setup in the battery location?
Seems a ideal spot given the fuel components are already right there, coupled with having a hatch back. Cant really look to the states as the brake booster is in the location.
    Safety concerns?

Yes, Wiz had his first one there. It didn't end well. Swollen like a squareish ball

Thanks, was it engine bay heat, poor build quality, any searchable key words, did they remove the battery tray to fit.
    Cheers

Putting a couple litres of fuel over the top of the turbo sounds like a bad time to me

Agree with Fists, best place is in the rear, ideally under the floor.

Or use Holley Hydramats (do a search :) )

Don't think it was documented on here, but when I collected the car, he showed me the tank. New tank was installed, under car, at the rear.
