Yeah he have me two and said try this one on the boot you have now and if it stops the leak we will cancel the order for the bolt
Please try and get it right. The items you have shown are SUMP PLUG WASHERS. They have NOTHING to do with BOLTS. The item you need to replace is the SUMP PLUG(with WASHER).:zlove::br:
Alright alright guy lets just clarify something When I say sump bolt I'm talking about the drain plug (bolt) not the bolts on the outside holding the actual sump to the block. All I need at this point is a washer and Iv got it so I'll give that a go. If that doesn't fix it I'll get a new drain plug (bolt) and new washer. If that doesn't fix it I'll wait till Karl puts my new engine in at the end of April, because I'm not buying a new sump just to get me through 1.5 months.
Here is my sump plug as you can see covered in old silicon And here is the washer so worn that it has grooves in it and is not even round
Super Cheap sell a plastic type sump plug with orings on it that expand on contact with oil to form a better seal they say. My first thought was it was dodgy but I now think that at least you will not strip the thread in the sump if you over tighten just wreck the plugs thread so not that bad an idea.
This one at Supercheap is $11 http://m.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Smart-O-Sump-Drain-Plug-M12-x-1-25mm-R1/341730
