Sounds like it's ready for Bathurst again, November 2018, sprints or regularity plus you can enter through and run with the Zed group.

My goal at this stage for Bathurst is Easter, but sadly no where near ready again. Will see how I go on the 23rd at SMSP.

If Easter doesn't happen I may look at November, though will have to be the sprints. From memory no slicks for the Regularity days and a fastest time cut off of 2:36? Both will be a major issue for me ;)

Yeh I guess that it would be the sprints for you given your previous lap times. There may be a 370Z doing the sprints, I came so close to buying one the other day but two projects just would not work.

Quick update, sadly it looks like I won't be racing at Bathurst at Easter. Too much still to do and I'm just over spending every spare minute I have working on this bloody racecar lol!

So I'll probably do a couple of race meetings from mid year, probably at least one at Eastern Creek, then I might plan to do Philip Island in November. I haven't raced at PI before and it's one definitely on the bucket list.

On a slightly more positive note, I managed a 1:46.9 at Eastern Creek on Tuesday. TBH a little disappointing, car issues aside I was hoping to be in the 45's. Car as it is is definitely good for a 44.

Finally got around to installing my rear subframe collars that have been sitting in my cupboard for 3 years!

Future note to self, when laying under the car with a pry bar, don't position it anywhere near your face! Bloody thing slipped and smacked me square in the choppers. Broke skin but luckily didn't break any teeth!

Got a nice fat lip out of it :(

Anyway been slowing working away on this. Have all adjustable front and rear suspension arms now so working on getting all my suspension settings where I want them. Then hope to do another track day probably Sept.

Ouch yep.... I've done this before with a torque wrench except I dropped it after torquing something up! Painful and leaves the embarrassment to go with it nice and visible.

LOL- and generally when you have your face up in their, and your body weight hanging off what ever it is you need to loosen, you have a thought run through your head - Hmmm, fuck this is gonna hurt if it all goes pear shaped
