So it was tested in a V8.. what type of 5L v8? What car was the motor in? How many kms had the motor done before the tests were performed? what specs was the motor? was it turboed was it supercharged or just NA? that all comes into pay when they do tests like this...

Yes it is good reading but at the end of the day the tests were not done on a Z32... under bonnet temps are higher in the Z32 due to the engine bay then in a V8... Plus the fact every car is different no matter if you put two of the same car's side by side...

I have read other oil tests and at the end of the day they all say the same thing... It depends on how much the person who owns the car is willing to pay for there oil.. I use a 15w/40 semi syn from fuchs... I have used fuchs in all of my car's and never had a problem with them... Costs around $30 for 5L's but at the end of the day it does its job and i am happy with it...

By creating a control subject as close to par acroos the board, the only theoretical difference that should be noticed is the tested items atributes.

This test seems to have done a reasonable job of creating parity, so the results should apply to most other engines.

    Cheers
    Rob
