Slow process, but she is in, needs fluids and wiring and should run. Then to work out the logistics of plumbing and bonnets.
Bit of progress now, it runs, have added a monster hole in the bonnet to close it, holden astra electric steering and accusump are wired in to go. have to sort clutch master (bracket getting laser cut this week) reconnect steering rack to wheel once the new bushing comes, sort out cooling system and reassemble body/interior.
If thats the case, then went on to another guy in perth, and is now back in north qld. do you remember what cooler/fan you used? seems to be really tight on my end :S
I used a modified ally TT radiator offset all the way to the passenger side with a davies craig electric water pump and a 14" thermofan. Also had the top engine coolant fill point modified to clear the bonnet.
Things been slow with time away, but have the bonnet scoop in stock, steering is all sorted and wired in, need to hook up the cooling, reassemble body and a little bit of tidy up and hopefully be ready to take to an exhaust shop.
Yep, fg falcon xr8, https://thefibreglassfactory.com.au/collections/ford/products/fg-bulge-bonnet-scoop-fibreglass is where i got it, took about 2 weeks
