Probably best to borrow a good boost gauge and

take a mate for a spin to see what your maximum boost is. The stock gauge is often innaccurate. The stock gauge has +7 mmmg(?) which is 14psi or 1 bar I think. Stock boost is 9.5psi and a couple less when tripped into the safety map. I could be wrong but hopefully its more useful than the previous posts :p.

purchase a boost gauge, install said boost gauge, start engine, get into car, put your seatbelt on, drive car , mash throttle pedal to the floor in 2nd or 3rd adn read boost gauge. record max reading.
