This is testing my memory ATM.

But 2+2 rear mudflaps can fit a 2+0 rear bar, but the trailing wing on the flap needs to be pulled into the bar to fit flush? Was this correct?

I can source a pair from a local member but they're for a 2+2, where by I need some for our 2+0.

Can someone confirm or correct my thinking. I they can work and are a little out, how much was it out?

There was a thread made about it years ago, but I haven't found it yet...

    Cheers
    Chris

Chris when i looked into this last year before the respray i was told that 2+2 ones wont fit on my 2+0 & hence why i never ended up getting some & instead spend it on my stillen rear...not sure if what i was told was 100% but I'm sure somebody here would have tried

Thanks abe. I've go to track down the old thread regarding this. As I knew someone had tried it out. From what I recall it needed to be pulled together to make it work.

These 2+2 ones I'm getting for $40. So for that price I'm happy to trial if, if not mod them or use them as a basis to make some glass ones to suit.

But yes, someone's actual findings would be nice.

Why dont you just buy the glass versions that ionic dynamics in the US make? I'm assuming you didnt know about them? They have listings of them on ebay as well as on their website. If you cant find it let me know & ill send you the link to it when i get back from work tommorow.

I thought that the mud flaps were the same for both 2+0 and 2+2.

They do however need the flappy bit at the rear to either be glued or fixed to the bumper somehow. In the past Ive used Windscreen Sealant, only need to have some pressure on them or tape to hold them on while the sealant dries. The sealant you can get at Autobarn or similar stores

A simple screw or bolt in the flappy bit doesnt hold it snug enough all way round.
