Tried starting to car today after work and for a 1/3rd of a second it sounded like it was going to start and then nothing. Tried turning the key again and nothing. Tried roll starting, nothing, tried jump starting it, nothing. Just can't get any power. Was thinking maybe a fuse, but which one could it be? Battery is only a few months old and so is the alternator. Any help would be much appreciated. I have had issues with the clock resetting each morning when I start the car but besides that the car used to start fine. Cheers Max
Interesting, I did have a stereo installed a couple of months ago too. How do you work out if it actually is a current drain? Would an auto elect be able to work that out? Cheers
Sounds like you have a flat battery.. Borrow a multimeter / voltmeter. Measure battery voltage at terminals of battery. Should be 12 - 13Vdc. If below 12V, charge battery. While measuring the battery voltage turn on the headlights. If the battery voltage drops below 11.5V, your battery needs a charge.
