Hi Guys & Girls, First of all, the hospitality at the Magic Mansion was excellent. The selection of sausages, and kebab skewers were very yummy! The cook(s) did a great job! Bummer the rain wouldn?t piss off. I really enjoyed this event. The new faces to the tech days (Carlos, Kawasaki Rider, KingKenny), and the more experienced people really helped to bring everyone together, and remove the age gap away from the equation. I?m still a noob, and was constantly reminded by Eric . The only way to learn, is by asking questions , watching and learning. Eric, Mic, Al, and Karl (90ttz) were all very helpful in explaining how things worked and what was the best way to do it right. My confidence has greatly improved, and would like to thank all the help and explanations given. Kudos to all! It was a rather busy tech-day. Key Events: 1) Headlights replaced for scottyoz~, timing changed back to 15 deg, and TPS was set to the optimal output. 2) Magic mikes rear NA subrame installed 3) Mrs Magicz nistune installed and boost gauge/oil pressure in a blitz? Gauge pillar 4) Kawasaki riders time belt was checked, removed and after counting the teeth is now on correctly. 5) Baz got his rear camera installed 6) The 300 (MR Big? sorry forgot ur username steve Jr.) got a few electrical issues sorted out 7) Myself (frysie) got half of the interior and b pillar seatbelt relocations done with the excellent help from both Eric (a2zed) and Mic (OZX_320). a. At my pace, a tech-week would be needed 8) Carlos95 got his centre bearing diagnosed due to vibrations Im sure some pictures will be coming up shortly. 90TTZ , Ztoy and Mrs Magic were all taking pics
 Thanks too Mike and Cara, for hosting the tech day. And thanks too all the wonderful people who helped one another getting things done. And yes Frysie only way too learn is too ask questions, and get your hands dirty.
Many thanks to CARA and mike (l/c - lol) for hosting a top tech day ..... great to catch up with a heap of oldies and a host of newbies, too. never stop being impressed with the range of skills within the Forum .. and a special thanks to Big Al and the Bones Boy .. !!!! enjoyed getting back into the Zed mode and demonstrating that i have not lost the touch for brilliant, incompetent supervision.
Congratulations to Mike, Cara and all in attendance for a successful day. In typical Queensland style- "Beautiful One Day"........... most certainly wasn't today. Continual light showers didn't hinder progress however, more kept the temperatures cool and pleasant. .... was going to write something deep and insightful, but I'm fubared. and yes Frysie, you are a noob.
I can barely keep my eyes open to read what I'm typing on my phone, but I've just made it home and can honestly say that the tech day was the best thing I've done in ages. I was pretty much a zombie all day/night, but meeting everyone, casting my eyes over some amazing cars and learning what I learned made it a fantastic event. I feel extremely fortunate to have bought a zed and worked my way into an fantastic car club. Special thanks to Mic who basically stripped and rebuilt the front end of my car at a lightning pace and Eric for identifiying that the belt was actually out a tooth. I will wait for a tune to see what the car really has but I can already feel the torque has improved enormously and fuel economy seems to have also. Baz, you're a legend mate. I'll always remember the sump plug trick Another huge thank you to Mike and Cara, thank you doesn't really cut it though. You guys put on an awesome event and were really welcoming. That coffee and the Burritos helped to get me home in one piece, lol. I'm really stoked with the result of the day and couldn't really be happier. Thanks heaps everyone.
Yep, for Baz actually hides his incompetence behind a façade of clever-dickery. Us older members must really get off our arse and organise some more events. Hats off to Mike and Cara, and to Maree for the Chrissy party.
Was a top day with I hear 15 zeds braving the rain. Thanks to everyone who came and special thanks to the usual suspects getting dirty. Turned into quite a long day, in bed sometime after 2am for me. Quite drunk. Pics More to come
 looks more like the buckets there too catch Al's innards from the only hard bit of work he did all day " holding himself up on the hoist " J/K Al .
 Once again a BIG THANK YOU too Mike and Cara for a great day the great Food, Company, and space too work on our Zeds.
Also just wanted to say a big thanks to Mike and Cara, for hosting the tech day. Could finally meet some of the crew. Pitty I could not stay long due to needing to get back to uni work Looked like it went all the way into the night for you all
