Is anybody considering using this manifold? Can a 80mm intake tube run to a intercooler through any of the factory holes? This is a 100mm tube running under the head light cant tell if its been enlarged this ls3 swap has it running to side mounts, with obvious custom radiator this is a bosch Motorsport 82mm throttle that works with the haltch 2500 which is now plug and play for the z32 Need and adaptor worth noting that these throttle bodies come in 58 60 68mm which in theory adaptors could be made to suit the stock manifold. These things exist so here they are.
forgot the link of were to buy https://www.infinitemachineconcepts.com/products/copy-of-4v-custom-text-coil-covers this company also makes Abs delete plates and toque plates
This is my work in progress and yes, the hole under the headlight was modified a fair amount to get the 4" (100mm) tube to pass through. As far as I know, even a 3" (75mm) will not fit without some massaging of the sheet metal.
To use this intake manifold I cant see any way that the oem fan will work due to the low throttle body position made this way to fit under the bonnet. The consensus is to use a spal 16" extreme fan, depending on what radiator setup you choose will dictate what fan shroud you use. If using the standard radiator location ashspec has all ready made a shroud and 16" spal fan. http://www.ashspecz.com/uploads/prodImages/P0003820.jpg http://www.ashspecz.com/shop/prodInfo2.php?prodID=51 Depending on what intercooler piping route you choose will dictate your cooling setup, I have seen other builds enlarge the hole for the standard location washer bottle.
I view this manifold as a 4000rpm to 9,000rpm power band, where the standard manifold is more like a 2,000rpm to 7000pm manifold, bigger turbos means more lag moving your power band higher is the best way to take advantage for your new large turbos.
