Hi, folks. Im a new member, first thread. Im 6ft 4 and I'm looking at buying a 300zx in the near future. My biggest concern at the moment is will I fit in the driver's seat? How much of an issue is leg and head room? Is there much difference between 2 seaters and 2+2, or T-tops/slicktops? Any advice or experiences from vertically generous owners would be super appreciated!
im 6'4, or 6'5 depending what i have for brekke i fit no worries. head room is pretty good. much more room then a silvia or skyline or even a for laser or ford focus
6'3" here. I fit fine in 2+2 targa, but have noticed that with an electric seat compared to a manual seat my head is about an inch closer to the roof. Like others have said there's lots of big guys driving zeds without too much hassle.
member "stretch" was/is way above 6' 4" .. and "craz-y-boy" was about the same ... at least 2 storeys high ... !!!! .. they fitted in fine.
im 6 foot 1 and have roughly 6- 7 inches above my head in my 2 seater. its a traga top too. but i do believe less head room in a slick top??? correct me if im wrong
I'm 6ft10 last time I checked lol had enough room when racing with a helmet I just removed the targa shade.. Although my mates used to make fun saying when I drove with the roof off they could see my head out the roof lol nothing wrong with some wind in your hair lol
Welcome to the forum. I m 6 ft 2in never had problem getting in the zed. When you buy make sure you got electric seats because it's got several different position you can turn into. Actually zed has got more room than Silvia, skyline and supra. Because Nissan made ZedX as a luxury car.
stretch, how about we show him some pics of a 6'10" man in a Zed. Well, in the engine bay I love this pic too, Zed looks like a scaled down model next to you
Thanks guys, thats a relief. My next option was a double foot amputation, or maybe just having a few vertebrae removed. MickW- Love the photo! Looks like stretch is growing out of the machine or the machine is growing out of him. Finally the dream is happening- Man and Machine in perfect harmony. Cheers guys for the warm welcome! Keep you posted
6'3 and no problems - well kinda I fit in the zed - the only problem is that I have to pretend driving it down the street..
Just buy a convertible, worst case scenario is people seeing a large bump in the cloth roof when you drive.
